Roll Cage

I ran under 11.5 this weekend and now need a cage.
Anyone in Socal have one with a removable harness bar that I can look at ? I'm in Ventura.
I have 2 kids and they sometimes ride in the car with me.
I know it might not pass tech but I will cross that bridge when the time comes.
Thanks,

What you need is a bolt in roll bar like the one RPM makes. You can bolt it in the day before you go to the track then remove it after wards. If the kids are in car seats you can let them ride when the cage is installed and you can also add some padding to the bars.

Here is a link to the bars.

If you end up getting it I will help you install it but you have to let me borrow it once so I don't get kicked out for running faster than 11.5.

Blu808 has a very nice roll bar that has a removable harness bar.

When it comes in let me use it for a couple of runs. I just want to dial it in here in SoCal before going back to Mexico(where a rollbar in not needed). Without it I can only make one full run before they kick me off the track.

I installed the RPM 5 point in my car. It's a great bar and I like it a lot. The install took me about 20 hours and I think I could have it out in about half the time. Don't kid yourself about putting it in on race day then removing it, just ain't happening. Before install you have to remove front and back seats, seat belt assemblies, rear interior side panels, pull all carpet back out of the way. The back tires have to come off to remove the plastic wheel well liners for access to the bolts on the roll bar. Same process to remove it. I love the bar but when they say "bolt in", it's bolt in to stay in. The only reason you would remove it is to sell it, believe me...

That's weird. I ran there in the Camaro last year and I let off the first time on the juice so I would not go lower than 11.5 and managed a 11.8 @ 111.77mph. Then later I went 11.7 @ 120.54 and they warned me to not go under 11.5.

I will have to go back and make a couple tries at low 10's and see what they say.

They even had me roll down my window once to make sure my helmet was strapped but didn't say squat about cage
