I own both cars. The main reason the 5.0 is quicker in the 1/4 is that it launches MUCH better, and weighs about 350lbs less PERIOD. Above 60mph it is a toss up on which car is quicker. Over 100mph the camaro feels faster.

0-60 5.0
60-100 5.0=SS
100+ SS

What times does you car run in the 1/4? Looking at your post history I am seeing full exhaust, CAI and a tune. That isn't going to get it done.

Haha yeah, but only time I can imagine a Camry breaking the speed limit is if a teen borrows his parent's camry and is driving around...

Yeah, I used to own an Acura RL and complemented a few of the Camaro V6 owners on here by comparing them to a silky smooth Acura engine and they got pissed off.... for no particular reason. This engine is inherently unbalanced and is rougher, but I don't give a damn honestly... I own a 4.6 stroker 5-speed Cherokee if that gives you any insight.

Anyhow, nice 1/4 mile time for 2.73 auto, any mods for future or keeping it factory clean ?
