thats how they make their money...they put low prices up, and then when you go to pay shipping..it ends up being 200+- asked them about this one time, and they said the extra fees cover their internet costs..yea right.

We have a few sets of the GM 2012 Hoses coming! They will be $80 shipped. I'll post up some pictures when I get them installed on my Camaro.

Kind regards,

Email them and let them know/ask them why. I'm sure they have data entry clerks enter numbers in for them and they DO make mistakes from time to time. I remember going to order some clips one time from them and there was a 129.50 shipping charge. Someone made a mistake and it should have only been the standard 12.95 shipping/handling. Now if it's some sort of oversized pricing thing, then that would be retarded.

Edit: I just checked on their website. You order two sets of hoses and it comes to a total of just shy of $370!!!! Something's obviously "hosed" there! I sent them an email to see what's up with that.

This is the information I just received. I'm looking forward to getting some of these and I still have 5 sets unspoken for once they come in!

This is a much more cost effective solution than the aftermarket option and they are OEM parts.

Does it come with the hardware also or do you just use your old hardware?

Thanks.

They run behind the heat shield and it may or may not need to be "adjusted". time will tell.

You would reuse your old hardware and I'm working on a total package price with everything. I will also test this on my 2011 SS before they ship to make sure it is a complete solution.

GMpartsdirect.com changed their shipping price. It was a typo. I emailed them and they emailed me back. 19259242 total to the house is $64.59. Correct shipping/handling is $13.12

I ordered P/N 19259242 from Hendrick Chevrolet about 2 weeks ago; box showed up today with the 2010 "over the intake" style heater hoses labeled P/N 2278647. Best I can figure is they used my VIN number and decided to override my part number request. For those of you that have them on order you might want to double check what your getting! I'll be calling Hendrick's tomorrow.

I spoke with the Parts Dept at Hendrick Chevrolet this morning and as I suspected that sent me the heater hose based on my VIN number, even though my order confirmation email stated the part number I listed. They're going to give me credit for the part. They're not showing any of the new style hoses available.

I also rechecked GM Parts Direct website and it now shows a shipping charge of $13.XX. It also shows that this is a special order part.

Has anyone been able to purchase the 2012 style heater hose yet?

I have spoke to 3 different places and none of them know when they will be available.

I finally just placed a pre-order with Jordan at JDP since he will actually be testing the part on his car and selling a complete install package.
