Instead of re-building the L99 when my 2SS/RS arrives, I am considering a complete engine swap with a built-up LSX 454 or 427. Any idea on how much a complete L99 with intake, coils, etc wouild be worth? Thanks for your feedback in advance.

LS3 is worth about 6k if you pull it right away, so I would guess very similar to that.

Yep, might be a few hundred less since I'd bet most crate engine buyers are looking for performance and would prefer the LS3 with a few more horsepower and no AFM to mess with, still somewhere between 5-6 seems like a good guess.

Does anyone know of places offering engine swaps??? Say New L99 for LS7 or LS9. And what would the cost be for this?

You don't wanna get rid of the wiring, coils, accessories, oil pan, etc. You will only want to swap the long block as the cost of the bolt on parts is where the price gets crazy. You can buy a LS3 long block for around 6-6500 but if you get it complete, it's easly worth 75-8000 because of items like the water pump, starter, coils, accessories, etc.

I'd say list the long block for about 5.5k on e-bay and you should get a buyer...likely an uneducated buyer, but you will get a buyer. Just list that it came out of a new Camaro and people will flock to it.

it is worth $4,500.00.
