Still no pricing?

My dealer said he can order the car in about a week, but he's thinking 60-70k for the ZL1. That's not where I want to be, but it may be reality. What's the latest on this?

Sounds pretty close on the 60K figure.

Wish GM would get off their ass and release pricing.

My dealer has no information on pricing other than educated guess to compete with the GT-500, a fully loaded model will be on the lot $55-60k

It's been already posted that GM will be announcing the
MSRP around the middle of November. From the hints
were hearing(rumours), figure the price to be around
55k for the basic ZL1. But that's just a best guesstimate
at this point. Were almost there all the pieces to the
puzzle are coming together and we will a full picture
in the near future.
Some of us have been waiting a long time for this
type of car to purchase.

I keep laughing at folks who think that the ZL1 will start at $45k.... People have pipe dreams. Add up the features and do the math folks. A fully loaded ZL1 will be knocking on Z06 pricing territory. And for that kind of coin I'll take the Z06!

Well, if the price is too high, they will only be hurting themselves. I know of more than one person who would rather have a base C6 or a Cts v than a 60K Camaro.
The ZL1 IS a fantastic car, but in reality it's a 48-55K car, nothing more than that. If they want more, they will only lose sales to Ford and Dodge, and to there own Corvette and Cts V. Seriously, why would a customer pay 60-70K for 580hp when they can go to Ford and get 620hp for 55K?
I think all these guys who actually think the ZL1 will be a 70K car, really don't know what they are talking about.

A loaded 2ss 40 to 45k?
A loaded mustang gt 55 k?
A loaded chally 57k?
So i am going to assume
As other say 55 to 60
They cannot sell it more then a caddy .
These guys are not dummys they have people to figure all the pricing.

620 hp? for 55K? From Ford? Where the hell do you get this information?

All false until proven true. There is no evidence to support your statement.

Price will be justifiable. Try to crunch in a beastly 580 HP motor, MR shocks, advanced cooling systems throughout and other fantastic goodies into a vehicle.

Not to mention that you have to guarantee me that that the junk you're going to try to build for less is going to last 5 years or 100,000 miles.

And then say it to my face that you can get it for $48,000.

Get real, anyone who buys this will get the very best car for the price. Just don't expect a BMW interior to be included as well, this car isn't meant for that.

It's meant to burn the competition to a crisp. Comprende?

620HP 2013 GT500?
From every source imaginable Look it up yourself.
Im not being a Ford fanboy or anything, I'm just proving a very serious point.
There is NO WAY that the bean counters at GM are going to compete with themselves, by pricing the ZL1 in the CTS V and Zo6 price range, or EVEN price the ZL1 10K above the GT500. it's just not going to happen, they know how many sales they would lose by doing that. Anyone who honestly believes the ZL1 will price at 70K is smoking crack.

Also you should do your research before claiming there is no evidence of a 5.8L GT500....the New UAW contract has a part in it about the new GT500 getting a 5.8L, soooooo, that would make it CONFIRMED!

My guess is it will start at $55k and top out at $70K for a fully optioned vert. $70K seems high but $68K is definitely in the ball park.

this sounds pretty logical to me. When u can get almost the same performance and even more luxury for $60k from a cts-v coupe...dont expect a base coupe zl1 camaro to be priced for more when its all the same family anyway. Not to mention your main competition is Ford and the gt500 is $48k base
