Very nice work... hope to come see it and go fishing in that lake someday...
We have had some help... and dad is the one keeping the rest of us in line. But it is kind of cool to have a hand in each of the steps.

come on up... I think we have about 12 lakes withing 6 miles of the house. that ups to around 100 lakes within 50 miles. I could take you fishing on the big water.... lake michigan for white fish or salmon or troll for monster walleye, cast for big old bass, or use worms and catch buckets of pan fish... all in the same day in different lakes!

no... but they are frozen sticks by the time you get home from ice fishing.

Looks like you're going to have a sweet view! Lots of windows planned for the lake side?

yea... if you go up a few pictures you can see the wall we framed in on the lake side. it has 1 large double hung and two regular size double hungs going in.

I got a hell of a deal. 4500 worth of Andersen windows for 600 bucks.

If you slipped and fell in cow shit I bet you'd find a hundred dollar bill in it

Your attic is almost as big as my house... Have you decided how you're going to arrange the living area? Let's see some blueprints!

Its not a huge space... but should be good enough for me... seeing how I am gone 4 days a week on business. And having an 1800 sq ft garage under me is pretty cool.

remember, the peak of this loft is 29ft up in the air.

I would take out the two 3' windows and use two 6' windows or 8' windows side by side to make one big window. And a huge fridge for the beer.

oh yea... well I will have a mid-century Fridgedair converted into to a keggerator... it will house all our home brews... going direct into keg instead of bottle.

Also... we will have an 8inch PVC pipe up stairs that will allow us to shoot out cans and bottle from the top story into the garage where a large can bin will be.

something similar to this... except it will probably be wrapped in brushed metal or some sort and will have a 45' end on it so we can send bottles down the chute as well.

When were you in my garage?

Hey, you could shoot some bottle rockets down that thing too and scare the shit out of someone down there. Bad thing is if you start, someone will shoot them back "up" into the house!
