Mirror Question?
So I have read that the drivers side mirror will be auto dimming but do we know if we will see turn indicators in the side mirrors?
OK, so I want to be a "Senior" member, only 2 more to go......... |

I've never heard any indication that they're putting turn indicators in the mirrors.

I haven't heard or read anything about that either. I have to admit that I wonder why manufacturers don't do what VW does with the Jetta mirrors - where they have the turn signal indicators in LED pots on the sides of the mirrors. It seems pretty small but I think definately helps bring attention to surrounding drivers that I'm trying to get into that lane and such. Of course, people have to actually USE the signals, and that just doesn't happen in California...

I have noticed that on a number of cars like Bonnies IS350 that they tend to wait until the second or third MY to start doing it.

The 2LT and 2SS get inside auto-dimming and outside heated, driver's side auto-dimming mirrors.

My mirror question is, will the wiring be in the door to add a heated outside mirror? That is the only option on the 2ss that I really want since I will be driving the car in the winter, snow and all.
And what about the service manuals, when will they be available? I'll be needing that when I add the mirror. |
