Regarding ZL1 volumes, I never heard any specific or concrete numbers for any model year. But limited volumes historically do two things. Give the bad dealersa a chance to gouge and also make them just hard to get even if you have the scratch to buy one. Now you also have to consider pricing as well. For example, if the price is close to 60K, you will see much lower demand than if it were $49,999. Simple eonomics. So yes, we all want one, but the price barrier will be the filter. And I have no idea on the pricing at all. So it is just possible you are hearing rumors about fixed volumes that are started by some dealers to get people to pay bigger prices. You see if people think the volume is limited they are more willing to pay dealer mark ups.

I'd wait and see when GM makes some more official announcement on pricing before getting too concerned on the volumes.

POTD stuff here. Everyone needs to understand this, especially everyone that is getting worked up over allocations.

SEMA is almost here. GM has taken delivery of 14 GMPP Pedders coilover kits. Doing some simple math, the majority of vehicles in the GM booth will be GMPP Pedders equipped.



Then there is the LPE L/28 OPTIMA Challenge Camaro and five West Coast Customs builds. Four of the five are live builds at SEMA

I had people asking for permission to insure me when I bought the 'busa too. For some reason people keep thinking I'm going to go toes up soon.

I plan to disappoint Ya so we can share a meal & a ride in our ZL1 Beasties.

I think we should all chip in an a 10 Million Dollar Insurance policy for the development of Shno's House of Z. There should be enough to get everyone a ZL1 or L/28 with enough left over for a nice Club House

That is OK too. I plan on being at CF3 in Indy for sure, with or without my Z. We can definitely get together then if you are going.

Lost my Mom today. :(

A long and hard road down in her health so it's not necessarily a bad thing and not at all unexpected.

I know you all express your sympathies so I am not posting this for the next 100 posts be each of you telling me how much you support me. I know you do.

It is strange that with how much has happened in my life over the last several months, one of the things I have counted on is the knowledge of the friendships I have made here on Camaro5. I hope virtual friends are not viewed the same as imaginary friends. I'm not crazy..................

I post this sad news only as a reminder of context. Each of us here, I know has our own trials and tribulations, our own difficulties and darkness in our lives. Strangely, like most of us here in Shno's House, there always seems to be a significant level of comfort that can be found here. Well at least for me there is.

Regardless of how bad our day was, despite the small or large tragedies that jump in to our lives, we have one thing in common that bonds us and gives us a camaraderie that can is constant.....................
