Too Nice to keep parked & Too Nice to Everywhere!!
It's a piece of history. Won't be "daily" driver. But will be "sat in" and turned ON daily!
![]() I'm sure it will be taken out most nice weather days, but certainly is not my DD. Bottom Line
TOO NICE TO KEEP PARKED & TOO NICE TO DRIVE EVERYWHERE |

And to get back on topic, the ZL1 should be a perfectly liveable car with the adjustable MR shocks. Set it in "Tour" mode for normal driving and the suspension will just soak up the bumps. The tires will wear fast and cost a lot, but that is true for any high horsepower sports car.

Doesn't mean that it's worth $60,000 though...just because some idiots are stupid enough to piss money away.

Hello!!! If you can afford a 60k sportscar, you can also afford a daily driver. This is the WRONG car for a daily driver. Don't get me wrong..I'll be driving mine, but not to work to park in a gravel parking lot and collect door dings, thats just retarded. No I'll take it out regularly to stretch its legs whenever I can. This car is like fine wine, not cheap beer.

^^ the sheer amount of assuming that so many folks do on this forum is astounding. Mine WILL be a daily driver. That means EVERY day. Guess what I'll do when the tires go bald? Buy new ones! And when I get a ding? Fix it!

Al Oppenheiser has said that the ZL1 will be a much easier car to drive than the Corvette. Just because you have 580HP does not mean you have to use all of them ALL of the time!

Anyone can drive it as a daily driver, heck its their car, if they want to drive it off a cliff or seal it up in a cryogenic chamber its up to them. My personal opinion is that I wouldn't, because I don't want to, but others may..I don't get it, but that doesn't matter anyway. Same goes for muscle cars I build. Not a daily driver, cause I got one already. Why would I want to use them as daily drivers? |

Interestingly, I think this argument boils down to how we define quality and then use that quality item. For those that make this car a garage queen, quality has been defined as something rare and in need of protecting. For the DD crowd, quality means the ability to function on multiple levels simultaneously. I for one believe the later definition encompasses more, thus it has more quality for me.
