I don't know if anyone has done any interior pieces. Go for it! You'll be the first.

hmmm I painted my whole interior flat black, but I did regular sand primer spray paint etc. Im not sure about the plastidip on the inside only because it has that rubbery texture and if you do it anywhere that sees alot of 'touching' per say, then it might start to wear down and peel....

but then again, that's why it's plastidip! if it doesnt look good or gets messed up, peel and reapply! =) just go for it!

Someone on here plasti dipped the interior panels with red. I'm sure if you searched you could find it. It looked pretty good.

So I'm going to think outside the box with this. I have curb rash on one of my wheels, and I was going to plastipid them anyway. But I have a pretty good curb rash on my nose just infront of the driver side front tire (caught the edge of my driveway first thing in the morning of a cold day - lower then normal tire pressure = lower car. DOH!). Thinking about, since my car is black anyway, doing the entire underside of the front lip. It should cover it up fine enough. If the same thing happens again, I scrape the plastidip. Peel it off and reapply.

We'll see.

I wouldn't recommend waxing plasti dip. It has a pretty rough texture, I feel it would chew up the wax.

OK, just concerned if I accidentally got wax on it or quick detailer. I try to be careful with wax around the factory matte black rally stripes, since I do not want any shine. But, it still happens. Has anybody gotten wax on the plasti dip yet? I just ordered a can, literally 10 minutes ago, to do the front & rear bowties. btw nice right up.

More Options..

Not sure if this has been mentioned but just a quick heads up, Plasti-dip now comes with 'enhancers.' The three additions include a glossifier, metallizer gold, and metallizer silver.

http://www.plastidip.com/industrial_..._Dip_Enhancers

Though I don't know if you have to reapply the tape for enhancers or if you can add it to the original stuff before it dries...

Sincerely, Victory
