I think, THINK I might have found mine! On the 2010 database listing it's 2G1FT1EW7A9102416 going to Lone Star Chevrolet in Jersey Village, TX. Its a 2SS IOM 6 SPD with RS package and I can't see that being a dealer car. Damn I am pumped now!!!! The salesman said my car would be built this week although I did not want to get my hopes up. I clicked the VIN link on the 2010 database sheet and it goes to gm.ca, but it does not pull up much info and I also tried the trick of pulling up the window sticker of a car already at my dealer and then changing the VIN, but it just says "there was a problem generating the window sticker for the vehicle you selected" and this is on the www.chevrolet.com site. When I click the VIN link on the database page and it goes to gm.ca it does show the same stock number that I have on my workbench sheet.

Can anyone tell me another way to pull up the window sticker?

Guess I'll just wait til morning and call the dealer, but I don't think I'm sleeping tonight!

Keep refreshing the page on gm.ca It should eventually give you all the info. The US site is missing most of the cars now so that's not a surprise. Sounds like you found your car though. Congrats!

This could be very easily and probably has been done....we need to hire our own whiz kid to hack directly into the GM mainframe !!

Just kiding.....well not really.

I hacked GM's database and rerouted all the cars to Texas! I'm gonna get my car one way or another!

My script is finding new VINs this morning. I don't intend to update my spreadsheet though. I'll leave it to UCF w00t to update his website with the new VINs.

Well it's finding that they exist but when it tries to get the detailed info, it fails. I tried these cars by hand and it's doing the same to me. The script tries 30 times with a 1 second delay between each and it's not having any luck.
I made mods to my scripts last weekend to parse data from the web page. I considered getting all the detail but because of the refresh issue decided to keep it simple and fast and just get the VIN, stock/dealer number and dealer name/address then move on.

I might add a switch to either get the details or not so for a first run I can get the basics and later add the details.
