Is this an actual parade car or is it one of the replicas?

I would guess that the seller has learned something painful.

In 1998 I was ready to buy a new Corvette Indy Pace car. Sticker was somewhere around $45k. Went to a dealer in Central FL where we had purchased several cars, they had one and my husband and I said we'll buy it. They said..."that is not the price, we have added $10k to the price due to limited availability". Said no thanks and walked. 5 years later I bought the same car with 8000 miles for $32k and 6 months after that bought one with 20k miles for $28k. Just because they are limited availbility doesn't mean they will increase in value until MANY years down the road. I got lucky and sold my 2nd pace car for $2k less than I paid for it and owned it for 6 years but I only put 12k miles on it and kept it SPOTLESS. That pretty baby won me many trophies...miss her.

Since when is the for sale forum the general discussion forum? Hes here to sell a car not ask for peoples advice. Thats just rude as hell and uncalled for. If you arent familiar with the rules why dont you people go back and read them. Here I will help "
1) Respect & Be Helpful — By far, the most important rule here. Generations of Camaro enthusiasts have come together through a shared passion for the car and the community (in fact, the name "Camaro" means "friend, pal, or comrade"), so the golden rule applies: Treat others as you wish to be treated. This means no foul language, insults, or rude remarks towards other members. 5) No “Thread-Crapping”/Vendor Feedback — do not ruin another member’s sale thread (or any other) for any reason. Feel free to report an objectionable post, or just don’t post in the thread! Like Mom used to say, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!” Just move on. This applies to members’ and vendors’ threads alike. |

A parade car is a replica... same same... I highly doubt one would get much more than the other.

You are splitting hairs - there is a difference between Parade cars and regular replicas. We all know they are all replicas but to some people they would rather have a parade car and pay more for it. A parade car was used in official capacity related to the race where as a regular replica was never used for any official duties but rather is just a copy of those cars that were.

I own one that I bought new in July. The dealer was going to order it as auto, but let me change it to manual for only MSRP $47,150. Then the day befoe I picked it up, a dealer forty miles away offered me his manual at Msrp minus $2750 GM Family pricing discount. Plus threw in oilchange $70, ground effects at dealer cost. Those inflated numbers are ridiculous. If you look you can find dealers who tried to get in the high $50s then are now selling at cost minus GM 2011 Camaro rebates. If you want high return you will need to hold on to it a while. I say drive it.

Well i mostly enjoyed the feedback lol Some where harsh but correct!!! I did kind of want to see a reaction, some I see going to alot, not saying they will get it, others still at the dealers are going at cost, I got mine at cost right away and I drive it when its nice, I am not too worried about limited miles since I do pay a hefty payment!!! Once its paid off I might get another camaro and store this for some years and use it for my daughters college fund or something!!!! Thanks for the input while I do agree with the one person defending me, if someone was dumb enough to do 60-65 you guys ruined that!!!!!
