At this point I do not have an 800 number! I do not know why they have not given me an 800 number.


I am here to help and I will use this thread to document cases via your post number in this thread. I have done this sort of thing for years so its nothing new to me. I will help you in anyway I can, but be patient cause I do not have all the answers.

I don't know what to do with myself. My dealer has been informed he is getting 4 ZL1's. The first 2 are in his first concensus. They won't let me order until their next one comes up.

What should I do with my spare time?

Personal preference, and MY opinion only here.
IF I were doing yellow on the Zl1...
Black accents the yellow. Period.
The black wheels will look better IMHO because of this.
BUT, i would add the stripe for more bling to go with all the other
exterior black trim. Same thing I am doing with my Victory Red.
The black and Red go together. More bling, more contrast.
Yes, your interior will have red stitch and not yellow.
BUT, you can always use a fabric pen to change your stitch to yellow.
This has been documented with the SS models.

Here is what I would do. They are getting 4 more than likely for the entire 2012 run.
They may get more, but probably improbable. There are here to sell cars bottom line
not keep them or put them in a museum. Ask questions. Call them back. Let them
know you are on a internet site where many of your fellow team mates are getting to order
theyre cars RIGHT NOW with NO restrictions. Tell them you want one of the other two
cars they have allocated. If they wont order, tell them you do not CARE why they want
to hang on to the car when they get it. YOU want to buy it. Period. Then, if they refuse to budge, ask them ONE more time to order you a car. If they don't tell them you will not bother them again and also you will tell about your story here on the internet. with many people watching the outcome, and WE will do our part to find you another dealer to go to.
Also let them know you do not want to struggle with them and start off a bad relationship, but IF they order your car, you will see to it the other allocated car gets bought and sold
as well. FREE time? no free time at team camaro! We all need to be busy bees helping others
on here getting theyre dream car. Post your findings. I will keep this case open until
we hear back from you.

2012ZL1, We have so many users on C5 in the last few days they all seem
to run together. I do notice you do not have a 6 digit at present.
What is the full issue, or concern and we will see if the team can find a good answer.
Did you perchance get a 6 digit yesterday?

MYZL1DREAM, We do so have you included on the official waiting list.
However, we need to see what we can do to get your 6 digit number.
Much like we have stated in post #11 to G-Oil Guy, the same pretty much applies.
HOWEVER.... It may be they want to order your car around this thursday..
Application (ZL1 ordering information will be available in Order Workbench’s traditional

Order Configurator on Thursday, November 3, 2011...that being said I think some dealers
are waiting on this Thursday. What I would do, simply give your dealer a call in the

morning and see if this is the case. It probably will be. Good luck!
