Unfortunately every stock brake pad I've ever used has produced less than an optimal amount of brake dust.

On my old Jetta I upgraded the rotors and (more importantly in this topic) the pads to some that produced less dust.

I forget what brand they were, but for the euro cars they were well known and commonly used amongst the enthusiasts.

I'd recommend finding out what those pads are for us Camaro enthusiasts and get some. If it bothers you enough.

I don't really mind much. I love my car (long time) even when it's dirty.

You could do what I did. I plastidipped the rims so now I only clean it less than once a month. Best $20 mod ever

Or you could go for the ceramic pads

Ceramic hawk pads will decrease it a ton and stop better.

Another vote for the Hawk ceramic pads. I installed these at 2,000 miles as I was tired of the dirty rims. I've now got 30,000 miles on the car and have been very pleased with the minimal amount of dirt and the stopping power.

This stuff is unbelievable (See link below), it virtually eliminates any dust from sticking. And the little that does stick (and I mean little) can easily be blown or wiped off with little to no effort. Even after a week of DD (and through rain), my wheels look clean. Take a read of the reviews!
IMO- This is a “must have” product!!

I am in no way affiliated with the product or the company; I just love this stuff and always talk about it when the opportunity arises.
