I just talked to my mole in the Oshawa plant
Vin numbers are around the 5000's
He's seeing more IOM and more IBM.
No white yet..
I went to the storage lot yesterday and saw lotsa and lotsa red.

Wow, that is good news indeed!
1/4 of the way through (VIN-wise) the pre-orders...

Maybe I should start ordering my bolt-ons now?

I am seriously starting to think they are holding them until they do the big unveil at the dealers. It seems that some of you should already have your cars by now. Of course I know absolutely nothing and patience is not a quality I have. LOL

5000??? that's a big jump this week. As of 4/4, there were 2499 in the VIN tracker, so that means they are building over 600 a day this week?! And then considering the rumored V6/Man issues...

Don't forget....they need 3600 (or whatever that figure is) to have one for each dealer. So 5000 does not equate to that high of a percentage of pre-order cars.

How would you know that your number from 4/04 was correct?

The tracker doesn't track all the cars though.

I don't, but have to guess it was close to the last VIN produced that day. And guessing as numbers showed(per the VIN tracker) 150 a day, eventually up to 200 a day, then bam! 600 a day. Good news if true, that's for sure.
And with the lack of data from the Chevy VIN/window stickers this week, there is no proof, but keeping my hopes up anyway

not to sound ignorant but is the vin tracker fairly accurate? i sure hope 5,000 is correct that means were all getting close
