Dad and I took the cars out this weekend for a lunch meeting at Millstream Brewery - (yes, we walked it off before hopping back in the cars to get home in time for the Iowa and Penn State games.) I cannot believe how much BIGGER our Camaro is versus the Grand Sport C6's. Take a look at these snaps from my Camera Phone:

All in all it was a beautiful day for a cruise, and the manly lunch of corn nuts, beef sticks, Amana jerky and pretzels (mit beverages ) made sitting outside and looking at the cars all that much better. Hope everyone else was able to get the cars out a bit on Saturday.

Yup there is no doubt our cars a BIG. Setting my 5th Gen up next to my 2nd Gen you can really see how much bigger the 5th Gens are.

No back-up plan for lunch on saturday.

Friday night, if the weather is good would be a good back-up plan. Just have to watch out for deer.

Sunday is no good since I work nights and it's the first night of the work week.

I have all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off if we want to meet up, but it sounds like some people may have problems with those times. I am pretty flexible for the most part. However, I will probably be garaging my car for the winter within the next couple of weeks.

The weather forecast says we have only a 20% chance of rain saiturday.

Looks like lunch at the Metro is a GO at noon then.

Sweet count me in. Just to verify location, we are meeting at the Metro on 33rd or up on Blairs Ferry?

Also, who all from the Des Moines/Ankeny/Ames area is going over? Want to meet up in Ames/Nevada/Marshalltown off of Hwy. 30 and cruise over together? Let me know. We would probably meet up around 10:00am and leave by 10:15am. That should give us enough time to get there.

His intent was Blairsferry road.
Drive safely, watch for the cameras (two each direction).
Alright works for me. Yeah I spend a lot of time over in CR; my brother and cousin live there....I used to. I got tagged once with the Cameras. Oh well, I paid my $75 and went on my way.

Sounds good. I will be there at Metro Buffet on Blairsferry at noon also. If we have bad weather though, I will probably start storing my camaro for the winter.

Sweet, we got a company! Hope others will chime in. As for now, let's just plan for the McDonald's off of Hwy. 30 in Nevada. If you need to get ahold of me my number is 319.572.3969.

I'm still debating on whether or not I will be at the Karl show tomorrow. Most likely I will be but I will have to see what the arrangements are for the younger sister. I might make it back down there a little late.
