3000!!!! Please help

I sat at the computer and watched my dealer enter my order. I also noticed another order that was placed by another customer along with an order #. Both orders on the screen and I saw a box that had an allocation placement or possibly priority level. My box had #1 and the other order had a #2 in that box. So I assume once GM asks for orders they get pulled by the priority #s.

Shurenuff-I forgot to tell you... If you are at 1102 in the next day or two you might want to email gmconnects.. My dealer entered my order as a stock order rather than a solid retail order and because of that, gmconnects has to update my status tracking manually.

I enquired about this yesterday because I was stuck at 0000 and they got back to me late last night explaining that it will be a manual process for my tracking here on out...

I am at the 3000 also. I was told by a dealer in WA that production started in December.

Hopefully, but Mark Reuss said they will build a handful at the end of year to rack up a bunch of miles on, and then they will start producing. After they are sure all the quirks are out of the production model. So, I would hope January sometime, IMO.

At 1:06PM it said "Vehicle has been entered into the system and will be updated the following business day in most cases." Steve, it looks like it automatically updated itself now. And you are already at status 3000 which is well along in the order process. However, at this point you cannot make further changes to the order, including color which your dealer was correct. Crystal Red is not even an option right now. Please note that some of the info on the YOUR ORDER tab may not have the correct English conversion as we have yet to get the new table formatted. But it looks like you will be getting one of the first ZL1’s built for sure. Do not be too surprised if it is not delayed for a good QC check as most of the early builds usually are given a very detailed Quality check over. Stingray is an awesome dealership so you made a great choice there for sure. Larry

I gave my dealer, Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, Fl. a deposit for a 2012 ZL1. We placed the order over the phone with the Inventory Manager Matthew Desaulniers on Saturday morning. He told told me that the color I wanted, Crystal Red was NOT shown as being available, so the vehicle was entered as Victory Red to get the order started. Some of the options that I wanted were also not on the quick order form. He sent me screen shots of the order which showed a status of 1100. When I checked on GMConnects.com, the order is not shown. Can you help me?

I am trying to order a 2012 ZL1 with Crystal Red Paint and these options:
Manual Transmission
Polished 5 Spoke Wheels
Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert
Suede Interior Package
Power Sunroof
Cargo Net

Good info, thanks! I did get an email yesterday or Monday stating that I went from 100 to 1102, so I assume that it's working. I'll email them just in case.

But like I said, I'm kind of hoping my order gets delayed a bit, so I'm not sweating it. Let all of you guys who have the weather to actually enjoy the car accept deliveries in February/March

Questions to those at 3000, did any of you order Ashen Gray? I'm wondering if the constraint on that color has any affect on this process.

It's not unusual for it to hit that status now. It may even progress farther, but may take awhile til it gets to 3400. You can make changes up til 3100 status. Prior to that, the dealer can ask to have the order returned and make the changes for you. Hope that helps.

I just got off the phone with my dealer because there had been a few errors in my order. Somehow the automatic transmission got changed to manual. He called the regional manager and they said that 94 Camaro Zl1's had been changed to status 3000 by mistake. All these cars should be changed back to 1100 or 1200 sometime today or tomorrow. He said don't be worried changes can still be made.
