Standards really aren't bad at all in traffic if you know how to handle one...when people think of a stick in traffic they think of back in the day in a 70 Charger with a clutch only a body builder can utilize for more than 10 minutes. I actually prefer having a stick in traffic because it keeps me entertained!

Welcome to Team LS3. You will NEVER regret it. Mine is a DD and I don't even think about driving it in traffic. If for some reason you prefer a auto, thats fine, go for it. But people who say its a pain to drive in traffic apparently have never driven one for long enough to not have to think about shifting.

Pretty cool Uncle...but I'm not sure I'd change cars on someone elses dime simply because I wanted a M6 instead of A6... JMHO

Good luck w/ the school... you're a lucky guy and I'm sure you will get him back someday...

I hear many give traffic as a reason for not wanting manual. I live in Chicago and drive in traffic everyday and it's not bad at all to drive stick in traffic, I don't know why everyone complains about it.

thats awesome man, honestly I drive an M6 in the worst conditions and the Camaro really isnt bad at all. My brothers mustang would make me give up but the manuals in both the V6 and LS3 are buttery smooth and very easy to operate!
Congrats and post as much pics as you can when you locate your new baby!

I completely understand where you're coming from. However, he really wants to do this for me, I wouldn't beg like a little kid.

Law School's gonna be a bitch, but hopefully when I land a steady career I'll make enough to buy him WHATEVER he wants, Ferrari, Poesche, Lmaborghini, it doesn't matter. I want to do all I can to make this guy happy, so my first savings are going straight to his gift.
