We call our legal department "the Sales Prevention department" because they are so overly anal they drive down sales.
What makes GM look bad, is what is classified "private company info". I'm guessing that info equals about 99% of what people want to know about their cars status and production details. That's not your fault, it's YOUR "Sales Prevention Departments" fault. Again, I think you guy's are great, but GM policies....not so much.
What he said.

I didn't have time to read all 680+ posts so I apologize if this has been asked before.

How many vehicles are "on the line" at any given moment? I mean, now that production is up and running at a "normal" pace, whenever one completed car is rolling off the line there must be one that has just started the first step in the process. How many cars are there in between those two?

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."

thanks for understanding that GM does have rules as does every company of its' size. They have a plan for every stage of desighn, preproduction, production, ramp up and release and for us to disclose any inplant info we are in s**t.Here is somthing I can say ,I hope ,the line is full of Camaros and we build as many as we can in a day,and in a week.I don't think alot of us new just how passionate the Camaro army are about this car.GM has their dates of release and when they say, when and how many are to be shipped, they get shipped. We just do what we do and we do it better {in my opinion} than anyone.I hope when you get your ride it will be all that you dreamed it would be. It is an awsome car and to my surprize, compared to older Camaros the back passenger seating area is very comfortable and not as confined as other, older Camaros with ample storage in the trunk with or without the seat back down ,keeping in mind it is a sports car and a damn fine looking one at that .I think you will all be one big happy Camaro family.

Hundreds, its a huge facility from stamping out body parts in stamping plant to body shop then paint ,through paint, trim and hardware, chassis and final inspection all new and very techy,it's very impressive.

CI I am sure I speak for many when I say that we are very appreciative to everyone at GM and more specifically those working at the Oshawa Plant for their enthusiasm, dedication and efforts. We love them to death and at no time has anyone here disrespected the folks working on the front line and yes at times we push for more information but at the end we do not want the information if it results in someone being disciplined or feeling guilty that they did.

We are all just very anxious to get our rides and we can show them off to everyone.

We respect you guys and keep up the excellent work and thank you for being part of our family.

sorry we can't give you the info you need to feed your disire for your new addition to your stable. be patiant every new car launch comes in stages. I've had to wait for months for a new Harley to be built down in York,Penn. Went down toured the plant and came back home and waited for what seemed like years for it to arrive. So I have a pretty good idea of what your going through as you sit and wait.

I hear ya! Keep up the good work we all appreciate it!! and whatever you do don't lose your job because of us!!
