Thanks guys! Some have questioned why the GT-9. Well, here are my feelings:
1) Decent NA cam for now. I am hoping for +50HP for now, which should get me close to the 11.6's. I'm not ready for a roll cage yet, so that's fine. 2) Good idle. Aggressive sound without the oldschool lope. I'm still daily driving this car, so the 121 LSA should be nice. 3) I am going FI in the early Spring. ProCharger D1-SC. 4) In my research, a big split is good for centrifugals. The narrower split is best for roots. 5) Plus, the big split will help on the top end. I'm really hoping that once I go FI, we can really ring this sucker out for top end for some impressive trap speeds. I haven't worked all the numbers yet, but 125-130mph would be sweet. ![]() 6) I also like the fact that Lingenfelter publishes the specs (yes, it's an older cam on LSK lobes). I like knowing and understanding everything that goes in the car, not a tuner who says "trust me". I understand why others keep their specs unrevealed, but I like those who publish them - better suited for my type of build and style. Padre |

Got an idle clip, Dyno numbers coming on monday. The GT9 cam idles like stock but hopefully packs a punch, especially once that D1 goes on

Yes. Bolt-ons, gears, TC, UDP but not the EWP. Also with the 18" rims and drag radials. = 376/391.
Tomorrow we dyno it with the stock 20"/275 rims/tires. I don't expect a big loss with the larger rims, but I can always put on my 18's if need be. Padre |

Stock rims/tires seem to be the best for the dyno... the DRs don't grip as well on the rollers
