Hey guys I need some help! I need to have my ss tuned and have that damn AFM turned off FOR GOOD! It makes my car sound horrable. Took it to the dealership and they said they cant do anything about it and showed me a GM message stating they are aware of the problem-nothing they can do. Steeleshark2 yo had mentioned a place down san Jose? Do you have an adress for me? Thanks again guys!

Keep in mind, once you tune it, the warranty could be gone for good.

Most small stuff won't be an issue but the bigger things they may snap shot the number of times your car has been flashed and you will be on without powertrain coverage.

Just so you know. Obviously I'm in the "who needs a warranty" camp LOL.

Just want you to give you the risk before you tune.

If you do want a tune, I'd take it to Doc over at EFI alchemy on 17 towards Palatka.

he did my car and a few others.

Thanks man for the reply! At this point I could careless for the powertrain warranty. Through Geico I have machanical breakdown coverage anyways.

I cant drive around paranoid wondering if people around me can hear it...

Well yesterday for my birthday my wife got me a 10" sub and a 500 watt amp

. Best buy will be installing it thursday . So i will get to see how good they are . She swears that her store has an excellent install crew.

Those installers have a good incentive to do this install clean and not risk making their manager mad..

Ok so I know I ask for a lot of help on this forum

... but what can I say...you guys know what your doing

! With that being said I have another question:

I am looking for the exact parts needed i.e. wire size,t-tap size to wire my new LED DRL's so they are on with my HALO's. I have contacted aac and iJDMTOY.com but they dont sell them. I have spoke with many auto parts stores and they have no clue what im talking about. And I'm not electrical savy

so I dont wanna wing it and "F" up my car! So what do you guys recommend?
