Dude mine is loud!! Maybe because I have my rear cats deleted and all 3in from the cats back. LoL.

I deleted the rear cats. There is no sensor after the rear cats so no codes.

ok update on what i did:

I had a muffler shop install from the rear cats to the mufflers 3 inch piping, it MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! (like night and day) and it sounds mean! FM 10s are niccccceeeeeeee! The shop just did a str8 pipe all the way through, no X pipe, because I was told by the guy installing the pipes that it would just quiet the car down. Is this true? If not, Im buying a X pipe today! but once again another happy customer with a flowmaster product. And why does every shop I visit are dead set against deleting my rear cats? I need to find some one

Just ran across this post as I as debating over the same 2 exhausts. I had a SLP Loudmouth II on my SRT8 Charger and loved the sound. However, a lot of people have been saying to go with Flowmaster's on the Camaro. Is there a huge difference in price or sound on the 2 exhausts? Any recommended locations to purchase the Flowmaster Outlaw?

Sorry if this is a repeat question...just purchased the new SS 1 month ago.

I have the LM II. I have always been a fan of flowmaster and actually considered them. What made me go with the SLP was mainly the looks. I did not care for the flowmasters looks compared to what most of the Axle/cat-backs systems on the market... not sure if they have changed the look now. I have never heard the flowmasters in person, but I can tell you that my loud mouth II sounds great.

I have a powerflo axle back for sale if anyone is interested. I guarantee you that it sounds better than any flowmaster.

RedlineJimmy – It looks like you’re new to the Camaro5 Forum…Welcome!

Welcome to owning a new SS Camaro too!

There are a lot of threads here on Camaro5 about exhaust. If you haven’t seen the Outlaw video:

The Outlaw Axle-Back is a 409S Stainless Steel exhaust system with a Lifetime Warranty and is competitively priced compared to systems from other exhaust companies. Great quality and sound not matched by other systems too. The Outlaw is a distinct aggressive sound all its own!
