You're not kidding. Cleaning the dust off of these wheels is harder than I thought it'd be. Not much worse than the Midnight Silver's though, I just thought these would be easier.

I think about putting different rims on my car but 1 I would rather spend the money on performance parts and 2 I remember to a time not so long ago when I had my GSXR that had black powder coated rims from factor and they looked awesome when they were clean but I rode more than I cleaned the bike....The rims got dirty real quick from brake dust and chain lube....

Once you go black, you never go back. They look awesome. I would love to do it with my 45th but don't really want to mess with Chevy's design of the special edition.

i hate black wheels also. do a poll on non-car enthusiasts and you'll find that 95% of people hate black rims. they DO look dirty. the only time i've ever liked them was when i saw a yellow C6 with them, and it looked pretty sweet. IMO the worst is black on black when the car just looks like it needs to be washed or repainted or something. i'm always confused by black on black and can't ever quite put my finger on why it looks bizarre. honestly i've never met a single person in my life that likes the black wheels--i only hear about it on forums. maybe i don't get out much though

blacked out mine a couple of months back and I think it looks way more aggressive and meaner than the stock MS or polished. And the best part is I don't have to clean them as often as I had to with the MS wheels

Personally, do not like most of the black rims, I prefer the contrast the silver wheels give.
