Camaro Scotty, or anyone, any idea why Chevrolet would make such a big deal for such a small increase? I mean, three slight adjustments hardly seems worth the infrastruture cost to make the change. Sure they will make a profit off the change, but not much of one, so what gives?

I figured the price increase for destination was due to truckers whining to mush work and we cant deliver on time. so they held GM hostage pay or don't Transport they do that every time they can. next time remember when you do big trasports contracts have options or you will be held hostage.

For the Canucks on this board, I called GM Canada and talked to my lovely person, Jane.

She did not have the Canadian price increases yet, but assured me that as long as you ordered before the increase, your price was protected. She even called my salesman and 'informed him' of this development so he doesn't try anything funny.

I love you Jane

Not a bad increase at all when your talking thousands of dollars in a purchase already.

Chevy still hasn't updated the "Build Your Own" application on their site with the new prices. How long do you think it'll take 'em?

Ok first, why is it that I am always telling my dealer what's up? I called yesterday to let them know that I thought I had a VIN and wanted to talk about pricing. My sales guy told me he could not talk pricing because they don't have a window sticker yet and he did not know anything about the total price!!! Damn! Do they really not know or are they just screwing with me? I mean pricing has been out for a while now. I just need to talk with the General Manager and quit dicking around with my sales guy. Sorry, but I have had some experiences with dealerships in the past and I just don't trust them. No offense to those dealers on this site. I could say screw it and just go somewhere else, but I would probably loose the money I already put down and then its that much more time to wait for my car! Aaaarrrrrrrggghhhh!

The pricing will affect me because I ordred IOM so its gonna be over $400.00 for me and $400.00 is $400.00 ya know. I get the feeling their gonna try to stick me with it.

I guess I just need to chill and see what happens, but my BP is not going down any time soon.

Is there a printable price sheet somewhere? Something I can take to my dealer.

I still don't belive it because it's APR1.

GM can't seriously think people would belive a price increase on APR1??

When it's on something more official than that spreadsheet looking thing (that can be done in HTML editor in 5 mintes).

WOW! not too bad at all. I went in last week (April 4th) to get the ball rolling. I gave them all the info on the one I want and asked them to call me with pricing and such. You'd think they would be all over it but they have'nt even bothered to call me back yet! .... Like they have soooo much to do right now. I'm not very impressed with the service at this point.

I think that you should have stuck around until they actually gave you a price in writing. What reason did they give you for not giving you a price right then and there? Did you put a deposit down? Anyways, congrats on placing your order!!! Now, like the rest of us, you can play the waiting game. Not many of us are winning though...

Yeah I went into a dealer to order a Camaro RS/SS/2 with Red and black stripes only to get him to give me a pre-sales invoice that states only MSRP :(
