Hey there...read the thread about the AWESOME mug (btw, I better get one) and was curious if anyone knew about the Camaro Welcome package?

You mean the one with the letter saying thanks for the order and the Camaro sketch? I got mine 2 months after placing my preorder.

Youve got to be kidding me. That is totally lame! Like someone else said, we are payin 40K and they are sending us a piece of paper?!?!?!? Amazing. I want some cool shit!

mmarcum is right. you get a spiffy looking letter and a sketch. got mine 2 months after ordering as well and all the anticipation over it diminished when I opened the package. I hope the same thing doesnt happen when I get my Camaro

You are paying $40k for the car. Be happy that they are giving you anything at all.

Quite right. I got jack when I bought my G35 and that was like $2-3K more than my Camaro'll be.

Keep in mind that there are lots of us who are paying the same amount or more for the Camaro that you are and we aren't getting squat.

Was wondering if any one has heard about whether there is going to be a "hold back" once the vehicle is completed at the factory for quality control. My dealer told me I have been scheduled for April 20 build date but the vehicle would not leave Oshawa for possibly 14 days after it was completed. Any comments.

Saying that it would be COOL to get a mug or a sign or somethin that makes it more than just another car. Which, of course, its not just another car, its actually the most badass car around!

Well, it depends WHO you buy from.... My WELCOME kit is EXTRA-ORDINARY...but it won't be revealed until the first Camaro gets delivered....and even THEN I may swear them to SECRECY!!!!

(and it's BETTER than a cup.)
