Leo, you use a civic for daily driving right?

My friend has a 1993 civic sedan coupe, automatic, no power doors or windows, and has AC, power brakes and steering. He has put about $3300 over the last year making it almost mechanically perfect. It has almost 150,000 miles on it and runs great. He's selling it for $1800 and I want to buy it. How long are these civics supposed to last on average anyhow?

A long time. Traded in my wife's 09 civic with 150,000 miles on it for the camaro. Changed the brakes once and oil every 5k. Never had a problem. Wifes co worker has a older civic(mid 90's) with over 300k on it.

buy it

Thanks man!! Done deal. I'll have to buy this thing. He even smogged it for me and is having me take it to a mechanic of my choice (on his dime) to ensure it's mechanically sound. Sounds like a good deal.
