Since I was in the 2nd ride in daytona with 3 others plus Jim that made me and the other two second. Ok other two who are you. I think RT was in the rear set with me, but I don't remember who got the front set, but I do remember you were a slightly large size person whom ask me "your not going to make me ride back there are you"?
And, I said or course not! I wanted that front set though!!Shotgun! All in fun!

I was at the Troy Dinner a few weeks ago and was one of the first (in fact probably the first) at the lot when I saw FBod pull in with 'Thor.' Though sheepish at first, waiting a full half hour before I worked up the nerve to check the car out and not look like some creep, I stepped over to speak with Scott, who was also speaking with two other guys about the car. While he was speaking with us, 3 and his wife (Jim and Lisa?) pulled in with their cars. It was then that Scott asked me "Hey, why not pull it up so that people can see it better from the road."

I sort of froze, thought about it..and then declined. I didn't want to inadvertently wreck something in the car and have Scott's butt on the line. As later pointed out by Jim(#3), me just driving the car was a no-no in GM's CTF rulebook.

Yea, but if you had jumped on the chance...........looking back, what would you have done now?
I bet you could've moved it with out wrecking it, right? lol.....

Probably. But only if Scott and I signed a document saying that it "officially" never happened. Just like the Troy get together was an "odd coincidence."

I don't really kick myself about it though. I had plenty of time with the car and driving it, while a bonus, would be just that.

Pic from the Ticonderoga get together. Taken by Jim/#3. I'm discussing the car (red striped polo) with my father and Fbod is somewhere behind the car talking to other people. Unforunately, I think Jim was the first one on site with a camera, and he was pulling his car up when I was posed the question. :/

We had a chance but could not do the 150 mile drive to hook up. To many things with Stephanie going on and doing a 178 mile drive twice a week is already taking its toll on her and us.
