1SS vs 2SS

So someone clarify for me please........

If I opt for the 1SS instead of the 2SS I will miss out on these features correct???

Leather
Heated Seats
Remote Start
4 Pack Gauges
USB Port
Premium Sound System (But I could order this on a 1SS)
Bluetooth

Anything I am missing or incorrect about??

Steering wheel controls, upgraded door sill plates, ambient lighting and plastic door and dash trim versus cloth.

4 pack guages can be dealer installed. USB port can be installed as well I think. Remote start only if your getting an Auto. I personally am getting the 1SS and getting custom leather seats done. Nothing crazy though, most likely 2 tone black leather with Dark gray and contrast stitching.

How much is that going to set you back?

Not sure yet. I figured it would be around $1500 but have not asked for a quote yet. Also depends on the type of leather i pick, if i go with suede in the center of the seat, etc.

I really like having steering wheel controls. I really like the ones on my GTO. I can scan through music/radio/cd's without taking my eyes off the road. Its a great feature to have. After having it on my last two cars, I would hate to not have it on my Camaro.

heated power adjusting side mirror-
driver side auto dimming

leather wrapped steering wheel is standard on both SS models... you just get steering controls with 2SS.

I went for the 2SS. Why not spend the extra $1500 and get all the creature comforts? Besides, having your PHONE sync to your CAR has a very futuristic sound to me. Me like.

You know I was just doing the math... you might have me changing my order to a 2SS before it goes into production.

I had a thread created just a few weeks ago trying to discuss the same thing.

All these yahoo's talked me into the 2SS, they are right though, its not that much more money for the complete package. If im already spending this much money whats another 3k for the whole kit & caboodle

2SS is a no brainer...........even if just for the resale value alone!

You cannot get heated seats.
You can get the sound system.
You can only get the remote start on an automatic trans, but you lose the LS3.
According to the Chevy website the gauges aren't an option, but I think you can have them dealer installed.. don't quote me on that though... anyone ?

Spend the few extra bucks now, it will make you happier in the long run. I never thought I would want heated seat in a car but I use them all the time in our Tahoe, and the universal home remote is awsome, no more multiple garage remotes in the car ! Bluetooth built in ? Come on ! I don't want one of those stupis things in my ear, and in CA. it is the law to be hands free on the cellphone.
