Yea, that or never enjoys the power of the car. My dad got 70k out the factory tires on his Avalanche, but that's a whole different story.

32k and slick rears.. One time at the track made a noticeable difference though.

I have 34K so it could be true. I am at 34k and plenty of tread left.

My rear tires have about 9000 miles on them and have a little less then half tread. I wonder if the supercharger has something to do with it??? LOL

53K is possible. I drive 180 a day, mainly hwy miles, and had 45K when i replaced my rims and tires with a new set. Even then, the tires still had tread on them for another 5-8K.

Approaching 31k and the Pzero's are still doing well, mainly highway miles...............the fronts a bit better than the rears. Maybe 5/8th's of the front tread left, rear about half. They'll be replaced with a high speed all seasons of some sorts some day soon.

As of right now I'm at 30K. Gone to the track about 2 or 3 times.

Rotation is key here......... If you kept the original staggered set and do not fully rotate (due to rim & tire size), then yes they will wear faster.

Personally, I have the 275's all the way around, rotate all four corners "the normal way", and my Pirellis (including some burnouts) still look fairly new with abundant tread at 10K.

It costs a little more, but I would suggest to those that keep their cars for the "higher" mileage, to replace either the fronts or rears with the same size wheel and tire - so that proper rotations can be performed.

Note:Members are selling them all the time on the For Sale thread.

Never understood why GM went with staggered wheels and tires............ Just a PITA IMHO.
