Changed my order... It is now a 2SS black w/rs package. I ordered gray leather but have a question. Is it like the inferno orange where it is 2 tone or is it all gray? Should have asked my salesman this but forgot.

Hum could be the logo on the bottom rail where it says Chevrolet.

I can't really get a feel for whether or not I would go for the 2SS until I actually see it in person, especially the leather. The "leather" seats on the 4th gen were kind of lousy (wore out fast) so I was happy with cloth. But if the 2SS actually has leather comparable to say, the GTO, I would consider it. I just don't want leather seats that look all ratty by 10,000 miles.

Sill plates are standard on both the 1SS and 2SS. Available as GMPP accessory for other models.

Grey Interior, 2-tone, carpet and headliner and roof pillars are also grey...

Spend the few extra bucks now, it will make you happier in the long run. I never thought I would want heated seat in a car but I use them all the time in our Tahoe, and the universal home remote is awsome, no more multiple garage remotes in the car ! Bluetooth built in ? Come on ! I don't want one of those stupis things in my ear, and in CA. it is the law to be hands free on the cellphone.

All I want from the 2SS is the USB port...

Why can' GM just use a generic mic input like Ford does. It costs nothing and accepts more devices....

But yeah, it seems more logical to me to get a 1SS with upgraded stereo and ground effects... More car less money. The four gauges serve no purpose anyway.

If one of the four gauges was a torque monitor, I would have gotten the 2SS..
