Does any one know if GM fixed the spoilcer deck lid piano problem? I had mine fixed last summer but now the same issue is happening. (paint chip under the right side corner of the spoiler)

nope....... but the DYI fix that will work is, go to hardware store and buy rubber washers for all screws, replace the rubber tape with some trimmed weather strip molding, touchup the paint chips, and re-assemble.

Id say take it right back in. Chevy needs to realize this is a huge problem and they need to fix it on all camaros, not just the few that notice it. It should not be that hard for engineers at chevy to fix the problem.

Now you've got me worried.... I hope they've fixed it for the 2012.

Tons of threads on this topic. Our yellow and green cars never had the problem but the orange had it on both sides. I removed the spoiler myself and touched it up with the end of a paper match stick and IOM touchup. I did 2 coats allowing 48 hours to cure before applying the second coat. The repair has held up a year and is undetectable even if looking for it. The other option was to paint the deck lid. I would not do that unless it was really necessary. The 2012's have an added shim on each corner of the spoiler providing more clearance between the deck and spoiler.
