Fast. 2 nice straights but had to deal with a tight 180 then a bigger 180. But the finish was nice and fun.

Washed my car yesterday and found a dent in the front wheel well and have slight wrinkle on the side panel. I cant imagine how it could have been dented based on the location and its smooth where it got hit. Not to bad, but gotta find a pantless dent remover shop. Im hoping they will be able to fix it without hurting the paint.

Been having low pressure warning lights for the past 6 months and checked the tire and found 40lbs of pressure in the tire. Finally figured it out. Somehow the tmps system is saying my left front is low pressure, but found that it was actually the right front tire that was low. Gonna try swapping the wheels around.

Anyone running 9"+ wheels on the front? I noticed a clunk everytime I back out of the garage and make a full turn to the right. Is there any cables that my wheel might be hitting when you turn the wheel completely over? I zip tied my back e-brake to take care of the back wheel issue, but not sure what it is in the front.

PS. Saw autocross in LV and thought it was awesome. Only using 5.0 mustangs doing alot of drifting on the course (they were letting spectators ride in the passenge seat. I didnt think they could go that fast on the course. Also spoke w a guy running a 2011 Camaro (auto trans) autocrossing and using the new Hurst Paddle Shifters. Might buy the Hurst kit since its not that expensive to play around with.

Thanks,
Mike
I have 9.5 in front and no problems. Let me know if you are ever interested in AutoX-ing. Its fun as heck and the only legal fun we have in town. Ask Sting, he's hooked. Plus there is about a 2 to 1 Mustang to Camaro ratio (although next season I probably wont be running the Camaro).

In response to Shayne70...

Yeah, hasn't been much going on. You have to check around for the various car cruise nights since there are at least 3 separate groups running them (Aikahi, Mililani, and the Hawaii Kai and Windward Mall). Plus there's the Car's and Coffee at Sears, Wendy's Cruise nights, and various other club specific cruises. Usually there is something at least every other weekend.

I'd be up for a Camaro get together before the end of the year. Too bad we didn't have another JN Camaro show in 2011.

Taz,

My driver rear tire goes tmps warning "--" no reading intermittently. I think the sensor is going bad or possibly water issues. It comes back and warning light resets after ignition stop/start. Tire pressure is good when manually checked.

I have been procrastinating to buy a new sensor and have it installed. I just ordered the cheap Kent Moore TMPS reset tool from GM. (~$65+shipping). I hate letting air out then re-filling to reset monitor system.

No issues with 20x10 wheels and 275/40 tires on front.

Wish I could have tried it. Watching all these mainland soloX with huge parking lots gets me depressed. Watching videos of Track days is even more depressing. Need to save and have car shipped to a track day in CA sometime in the future. Or ship car to Maui for some weekend fun...

As long as you don't break, it's all good.

Thanks! Just a bunch of weird things going on in the front end. High compression hissing sound when engine is cold and hit the accelerator was due to the A/C unit. After the car warms up, it doesnt do it anymore. That and the clunking sound started the same time I got the new wheels. Hope Revolution didnt mess anything up.

Been thinking of Autox for a while, but been busy on the weekends lately.

Humm, not runing the camaro next season? What are you planning on racing? Been trying to convince Lynda on the Dodge Viper, and she finally saw one a few months ago and now she's hooked. Now i'm waiting for the Dodge Viper to come out so that I can pick up one.

I'm wondering when Bode replaced my brake calipers that maybe he swapped the wheels around. Could be anything.

+1 for the Viper. That would be cool.

Next season I may be running my Mitsubishi EVO while I figure out how I want to build the Camaro (or should I say which Camaro to build). If more 5th Gens come out, I would probably build that.

Also there was a stock V6 red 5th Gen running 2 races ago. I didn't get to check out who it was. Anybody on these boards?

Las Vegas Pics

Finally got the pics downloaded and posted at this link:

http://nhracamarocruisesema.shutterfly.com/pictures/10

Let me know if this doesnt work. Should be in this order: NHRA Event, Las Vegas Camaro Car Cruise at "In&Out Burger", and SEMA.

Should be 95 pics on shutterfly. Once Lynda upload her pics, I will add it to this link.

Was wondering if you still have the INVOS tires for sale? Cant remember what size tires. Were they 315/35x20 tires? Would they both fit in the camaro if I drop the back seat down? If they are the right size and can fit in my camaro, was maybe thinking of purchasing them from you and picking them up at the Toys for Tots cruise on sunday. How much are you asking for them? You can pm me if you like.
