White can be difficult to paint perfectly. The materials could be issues, the basecoat. Could be a paint system issue with white. I doubt it's an issue with ordering some gallons and putting it in the paint system.

Chevy has put out white more towards the end of models. Like Corvettes and Trans Am. Almost all 96 vettes where white as an example.

its funny though we are talking about the company GM and they are having problems with painting a car in white!!!?? i would say white is 1 of the most popular colors and they dont offer that 1st?? just find that weird.. o well ill take my maro any color lmao just want my car already!!!..

haha dude, I've never thought of white as a popular color. The classy black - silver - dark gray - and red are the standards. Whenever I go by dealerships to talk to guys about cars and they take me over to a white car that isn't selling I'm like - "Man! This is the kinda car that my pink-haired grandma would drive!"

Or say a white Lexus ISF of Cadillac XLR... in my area, it's usually an upper-middle-aged asian lady driving it.

Looking at the list of built Camaros that was posted on one of the forums... it's easy to see that the Black 2SS is one of the most popular cars.

hahah i know what your saying but i am not trying to drive a car that every 1 is going to have it in black, plus my audi i drive now is black and i hate it!! always looks dirty after it is clean and you can see every scratch on the damn thing.. this camaro is a very popular car i am shure a lot of people are going to have it especially cause the 1lt is so cheep, so i want something that not a lot of people will have... and the way i am having my silver 1 built i am shure white with black ralley, ground efx kit, RS package and black rims you wont be seeing to many grand mother driving that around.. and i dont know where you live but every high class car in my neighborhood (bently, bmw m6, cl 500, lambo) seems every 1 has them in white lol...
