30 MPG

Why is the 2LS rated at 30 MPG and the other V6s rated at 29??? What's the difference?

Thanks

Rear end gearing is extra tall to get more mpg. That is the only reason.

2LS is a new trim model for 2012. I believe the 2LS is the only V6 car rated at 30 MPG.

How long before I start seeing that type of mileage on my 2012 2LT (automatic)? I just hit 1,000 miles a few days ago and am currently sitting at about 19.8mpg.

Im getting about 24 but i think part of it is that maybe the gas companies have already switched to a winter blend. Either that or when it gets cold the engine just doesnt run as well. I was getting 25 before it got cold and my tires are even slightly over inflated at about 37-38 PSI after they warm up.

Cars get better mileage in heat then cold weather. The hotter it is, the less fuel your engine will use.
