Was that with it directly or in addition to colored plasti-dip already laid? From the site: "Plasti Dip Enhancers are formulated to bond with the unique chemical structure of cured Plasti Dip for superior adhesion and long life. Plasti Dip Enhancers are not recommended for use on any other surface." But if that's what you did then maybe it wasn't fully dry. Otherwise, I have no idea... ![]() Quote:
Here's a link to their site showing the list of retailers. http://www.plastidip.com/diy_where_to_buy.php I'm sure there're other various places. But so far, Ive only come across black (local Home Depot and Lowes) but I do know that there're other colors out there. And apparently Ace Hardware allows you to 'create your color.' But best bet is to prolly buy online. |

No. But you can take the plasti-dip (that's in a can) to any NAPA store and they will put it into a spray can for you. I think it costs like $15. They will do it with any kind of paint.

This was a fantastic write up can't wait to go out and get some black for my bezels. two questions though. 1. when PD'ing the taillights does it not block them out completely? and 2. does the red PD match chevy Victory Red for doing the bowtie and possibly interior trim pieces?

Does anyone know the long term affect of this on paint? It has to adhere to the paint somehow and that usually means etching it!
