I finally sat in one saturday and my ONLY gripe was that the steering wheel seemed a bit big, otherwise it all works for me!

1. Poor interior materials
2. No touch screen navigation 3. Empty space in front of passenger 4. Radio looks like it is from 1990 |

Mailslot should be functional, and incomplete ABL looks odd. Other than that, it's awesome.

Like everything about it, just wish they could have made it look smaller and weigh less. It dwarfs the gen 1 Camaro and is along the lines of the new Chally in size. Would have been nice to see it come in at about the same weight as the gen 4, but you can't have everything.

1/ The engine, I want 550hp
2/ the fact that rear brake vents aren't open (so they aren't vents at all) 3/ the SS bumper 4/ interior is a little too sad compared to concept 5/ the fuel door not on top 6/ door openings

I'm about 50/50 on the interior. I think its because I've seen pictures of it for so long. I guarantee when I get someone in the passenger see who hasn't seen the interior before they'll be like "whoa, its sweet in here!" We've just grown accustomed to it... Exterior wise I'm thrilled. I'm a little concerned about visibility, but it will just take some getting used too. I don't mind the mailslot, but I wish the gills at least looked functional, rather than just indents. At the wrong angle, they look pretty silly. I also wish black stripes were factory installed.

For those who don't like the radio integration, it's funny...a few years ago, everyone was bashing GM for not integrating their radio headsets...now that they've done it, nobody wants it anymore...

Not really much I don't like. T-Tops would have been cool but it's been discussed at length.
A little lighter for better street times maybe. Keyless ignition would be really cool too. Can't complain about it though. |

If I have to nitpick I wish the LS/LT suspension sit just as low as the SS...I don't like the 4x4 ride height look especially with the big 20" wheels.

GM, PLEASE don't listen to that narrow car request. A muscle car should be <---W I D E--->

Anyway, my top 5 gripes: 5. Trendy big wheels/rubber band tires. I'm pretty sure we're well into Diminishing Returns territory regarding the handling improvements gained by putting wheel sizes on a pony car that a few years ago were only found on tractor trailer trucks. It looks ok, but 18" and 20" tires are expensive and less practical. I'm not saying we should have 165/95R14 tires or anything, but I think 16" would be reasonable for a base model, cut the car's purchase price, and save money for people who are going to buy aftermarket wheels regardless of what comes on the car (or who want to but aren't sure). Yes, I know the brakes probably don't fit inside 16" wheels anyway. 4. Mail slot (doesn't matter much to me because if I ever manage to get a Camaro it will most likely be the V6). 3. E-nannying even in the door locks: http://camaro5.com/forums/showthread...407#post404407 - you can't lock your keys in the car, and you probably can't lock the car and walk away unless you use the remote. I'm sure there will be more annoying e-nannies too. 2. Manual transmission on the V6 is too short. It could at least have 5 close gears for racing and 6th could be ultra-tall, useless below 50mph. That'd get us to (and beyond) 30mpg, as one person posted above. People who are in a hurry, hate saving money, or like the noise of high RPM aren't going to use 6th either way. ...and my number one gripe about the new Camaro: 1. I can't have one.

Have fun with a tippy car getting blown around the highway and wallowing when you fly it around turns...the new Camaro is supposed to handle well and extra width can bring extra stability.I also like it larger and heavier, unlike a few other posts in this thread. If I wanted a car that was fast because it's tiny and lightweight, the Civic Si delivers that in spades. I want a car that's got a decent ride and goes fast because it's got major balls. I want a Chevy, not a Honda.
