Max HP without Voiding Warranty

I have a new 2SS on order and want to get as much HP out of her as I can without voiding the warranty? I was going to add a SLP Super Charger but found out that it will void the warranty after they advertise it won't. So I'm hunting for was to squeeze out as much as possible

I'm fairly sure there are supercharger companies (maybe not many) but some offer 3yr/36,000 powertrain if you have it installed by an approved installer. Eldelbrock Eforce I believe does this?

Not as far as GM is concerned. We have a local guy with a SLP and GM said no way!

West Chevy here in Knoxville installed one, the guy blew the motor and I heard now he is going to have to take legal action against the dealer.

If you're worried about a GM warranty, trade your car in for a ZL-1... I hear they'll have 580hp

I just want to go fast, and the ZL1 can be beat stop light too stop light for a lot less money! After the price of the car I have $17K to play with before I get to the price I would have to pay for the 580 ponies.

Basically you got to pay to play. THe biggest power mods you can do without voiding the warranty are shorty headers, CAI, exhaust, high flow cats, ported throttle body, and a catch can. Oh and of course NO tune. I'd say that you'd probably get +30 rwhp at the most with that set up.

426 hp if you have an LS3
400 hp if you have an L99

Best advise from above is "PAY TO PLAY" and if a dealer wants to play hard ball, they can void your warranty for any and/or all of the following: shorty headers, CAI, exhaust, high flow cats, ported throttle body, and a catch can.

Any modifications can affect the warranty if that modification contributed to the failure. A couple supercharger companies offer replacement warranties. I'd love to talk to you about your options! Shoot me a PM or give me a call.

That will keep even the Lambos and Porches from messing with you .. stop light to stop light

Intake a exhaust is the furthest without messing with the powertrian warrenty. So maybe 450hp with Ls3, 420 with L99.

You can get about 35 HP avg. with LT headers, cats, and a CAI. In my case, a tune did not change the power or torque curve. The only thing the tuner could do for me was flatten my AFR and remove some knocking on the high end. I only drove the car about 60 miles without the tune so I'm not sure if/when I would throw a code. So, you might be able to get away without a tune with those mods. I have Kooks stepped headers with cats, CAI Inc intake, and Borla S-type cat-back.
