I respectfully propose that we seperate the modified list into two. One for drag radials and one for street tires. My thinking is that overtime the modified list will be filled with entries of only drag radials. Seems street tires are a bit slower.

i wish i can find drag radials around here. I looked everywhere and no one sells them

i wanted to run one time with them and one time on low pressure street tires and see the difference in time.

Not always... very track dependent... sometime street tires are just as fast...

My last run rear street tires 23 psi front 40 is that optimal?

Track prep and traction is HUGE.

Last year I went faster than this year even after adding the HP tune from Trifects, the ported throttle body and using drag radials.

Just have not had great traction yet, can't get my 60's down where they should be.

Price I pay to run at Lapeer.

I've had luck with 42psi front and 22 rears with street tires. I may try 20psi next time.

20-24 is normally a good sweet spot. I wouldn't go lower than 20 though...

In 1977 the recommend tire pressure as per the sticker in the glovebox was 23 pounds for a trans am SD. Times have def changed, you woulda been laughed outta the line if people knew you were running 35, that would be dangerous and crazy....

i couldn't find one on a website or anything, idk if you are familiar with the cinci/northern ky location or not, but cincyspeed has done a few in the area, and easystreet rides and rods told me the could do it. it may not be sts, but they are remote mounted twin turbos.
