I like the grill too, I think with some colors it looks good and with others it may look less flattering. Grats on the mods!!

Vmax Ported throttle Body installed!

I ordered this from Mike Norris last Wednesday; I received it late last night. I ordered from Mike because he had new ones in stock, I did not want a used one. I work up bright and early this morning to do the install. The install was quick and easy, about 15 minutes.

Anyway I took the car for a short run and I will say “believe the hype”. I am far from the car expert; this is my 1st “sports car” and was quite impressed with it before today. With that said, I did not know what I was missing before today. From the minute I pulled out of my driveway I instantly felt the difference in the throttle, it was significantly more responsive. I then took it for a short ride, I did not open it up but did play a bit and at all levels/rpm’s I felt the car pull more, very impressive. The 1st couple of minutes I did notice some weird shifting but I assuming this was because of the change, if quickly settle down and began to shift normal.

I cruised around for about 15 minutes then headed home, I’ll play a bit more lately and will report back. As a note, I did not disconnect the battery during the install and I DID NOT get a CEL.

For anyone on the fence, I say do it, you will not regret it.

Below are some pictures of the new an old TB. I have 5050 miles on my car today, and you’ll notice the oil build up both on the old TB and in the intake. I did install the RX catch can this past weekend, so I hope this will help to keep this from happening in the future.

Great pics and write up Felix!

It is good to get some feedback on these I am sure I will need to add this to my short list or should I say my long list now!

Yeah go out and open that baby up and see what she does and if there is any difference in gas mileage.

I don't know about gas mileage but I can tell you I am ecstatic with this mod. It totally changes the way the car feels, so much more responsive. This is a MUST do mod.

The RX catch can is one of the best of there. PM member sc2150, he'll send you the details of where to send payment.

If you're using 3 ohm, you can use one per side, but, it would have to be rated for over 65 watts.
