Being a San Antonio native and knowing where the Kirby Rail yard is...hell yes I want to go down there. I just don't want to deal with the 3+ hours of traffic to do it. If we had gone to my parents house in San Antonio instead of them coming up here this year, I would have already seen it by now, LOL.

Mine was "constructively placed" for about a day or so and then I got the 4800/4B00 statuses from gmconnects. For giggles, I checked the Union Pacific number again and it tells me the car is empty now.

Now I just need a truck to take it to my dealer.

Yeah, I had a scare while it was in transport, though. From Illinois going south, I was getting a projected arrival of Thanksgiving morning. Once it hit a town about 90 minutes from me, it changed to Dec 5th!!!! To say I was mad, was an understatement. I called my dealer, he said that didn't make any sense...why would it take 12 days to move 200 miles? Anyway, apparently that night, it got added to something else headed toward San Antonio and made it there about 10 hours ahead of the original schedule.

I guess I say all of that to say, your estimated arrival dates may change, but let it ride out and see what happens before you get too upset.

My dealer just called and told me my car got unloaded this morning!



I'm going this afternoon to pick it up and if it's still light, I'll post up pics tonight, If not, I'll have them up tomorrow.

The funny thing is....gmconnects still says it's bayed in San Antonio!
