Good GM Service Dept.

I purchased my car from a dealer that is about 2 hours away from where I live. I wanted to find out what GM Service depts you would recommend near Olympia, Lacey, Tacoma.

I have to get some things checked out on my car and being away from home I would like to send my wife to a trusted dealer service dept.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Titus Will in Olympia, has been great I had a a front seal leak when my air compressor belt broke and they were great, took great care of my car, they fixed it and cleaned all the oily mess up. I would suggest when you take the car walk around the car with the service department and let them know there are no dents, scratches or if you have some and your concern.

I was hoping I would hear something good about them. They are the closest dealer to me.

Good advice on the walk around as well.

Thanks!

Update: The car went to Titus-Will Chevy in the Olympia Auto mall today and was taken care of with no issues. My wife noticed a small oil leak on the floor of our garage so I had her take it in. It was a bad gasket on the oil filter so they changed my oil for free! She said they treated her very nice and took care of the issue fast.

I had a bad experience with Baydos when I was looking to buy a Camaro. The sales staff there tried to okie doke me. That was from the sales manager on down to the salesmen. So I decided I would not mess with them anymore even if it has nothing to do with the service dept. I hate dealing with dealers that think it's ok to screw the little man.

Where is Sunset @?

Sunset is in Sumner
lol Baydo knows better than to screw with me, I know the owner & the GM they dont want to piss me off lol.
I dont deal with their sales men that often because they know better to leave me alone when I go in. If I do go look at a car I go deal with the sales manager no one else

That is the best hook-up to have. I went there to deal with the GM through a referral from a friend of his on base but the day I went by he had not come in yet. It took less than an hour for me to walk out.

Good posts!! I think most in the country are great but the few horrible ones are disapointing to read about.

Glad your wife had a good experience with Titus Will. It's good that it's close to home, too. If there's ever any doubt with them, though, Sunset Chev in Sumner really is fabulous. One of the perks of having purchased the car there is free oil changes for LIFE! I had the clips holding the leather on the driver's seat break, so they repaired it, and the tech must have hit the steering wheel when he was taking the seat out, scratching the leather. I don't think he was trying to hide anything, the scratch was on the underside of the steering wheel, and wasn't visible at a glance, but I noticed it by feeling it when I turned the wheel. I pointed it out to the guy working when I picked the car up, and they didn't even question it - they ordered a replacement. They really take care of you, and have no qualms about fixing their mistakes if there are any. We're human, it's going to happen now and then, so I think that how they handled that really showed how good they are. Oh, and they give loaner cars too, even for small stuff like oil changes...

When I get home I will make them my dealer for services. I have heard nothing but good things from them from here as well as other sources.

Do you know if they are mod friendly? Back home in FL I used to take my Stangs to a mod friendly dealer that wouldn't void my warranty just because I modified my car. If the mod could have caused the damage then they would void the warranty for the repair. I have had a GM dealer void my warranty for a replacement radio because I had a cold air intake on the car. I fought the claim and won but it should never have gone that far.

Great I glad things went well. I'm not sure how mod friendly they are. I just have a Pedders Coil overs, a CAI and rerouted my heater hoses, I did all myself and they still fixed my warranty work. When you get home give them a call.
