i like the look(size) of those magnets, seems like the ba system is going to be pretty good, all i gotta do is make a enclosure for them, so they will be protected from my l7's lol

I'm hoping for Fbodfather to pop in to answer the question. I asked the Challenger guys for a shot of the interior of their trunk so we'll see. I recall seeing cars with similar trunk interiors but I don't own any new cars so I don't know what's standard.

Again.. it's like 6x9's in the back of a 78'.

That can be modded to cover up or custom painted.

Is that what the production version of the trunk looks like? I sure hope not!

EDIT: Oops, fixed link.
Welcome to every car out there thats not a benz or bimmer. BFD, you can't even notice that unless you have your neck craned up underneath looking for it....

I agree those are some big magnets. Gonna sound good... Wires will be perfectly fine. The wires aren't my concern, the quality of the speakers is what really matters. It's all about sound.

I guess I'm amused that this is a topic of conversation stimulating enough to get coverage on both Camaro and Challenger forums. Someone call the Rustang folks, quick!

Doesn't the sound get distorted if you put pretty panels over the back of the speakers anyway? I always understood that the air had to move freely behind them for the sound to be perfect.

Putting panels on would not distort the sound.

That looks exactly like my 09 Cobalt SS looks so it doesn't surprise me at all. I spent some time cleaning up the wiring routing in my trunk when I changed out speakers.

Putting covers on isn't that unusual these days (i.e. not just Bimmer, etc).
It certainly wouldn't be a deal breaker for me if I had the money to make the deal, but it is slightly disappointing.
