Any picks of the hood underside? Curious to see how is flows.

Thanks Pete, I probably have a few hours into it. Dremel tool, and a hand file, and lots of patience.

Here is a picture of where the air comes out into the airbox...
Check out who was inspecting my work in the backround.

Looks nice..... hopefully the inspector passes it

Not that we purposely drive in the rain, but any chance water could make it to the filter or would it get diverted/separated on the way?

I'll have to look into that. I think putting a drain hole in somewhere would help with any water issues. I just have to figure out where??
Or cover the hole on the underside of the hood with some tape if rain is pouring down.

Ok so after reading quite a bit of this post i've decided to chime in, however im not part of the brotherhood YET so i hope its alright! I've always been very interested in LPE. Now that I have my camaro, i thought about it more than once. My question to whoever feels like answering is this...Would it be a bad choice to turn my car into this beast of a machine if I use it as my daily driver, and dont take it to the track or strip(atleast i havent yet). Also, I wonder if LPE has any discounts for our military members? I know you all are going to want me to take this leap, but if there are serious pro's and con's, please enlighten me!

First let me that you for your service!
Second, everyone is welcome to stop in and talk about LPE!
Third, LPE builds cars that last, with anyone of their packages I would not hesitate to take off on a cross country trip or put 50 miles a day on it. That is the beauty of Lingenfelter, they do it right! I can assure you there are more than a few daily drivers that have graced the LPE shop.
Call Ryan or Kevin and they will set you up with the perfect package. As far as discounts, you would have to ask them.

Florida.... heck yes. Daily driver is actually possible without the hiberation from snow and sand. Go for it and enjoy the beast.

Pros: Never ending Permagrins

Cons: You'll spend more on tires , and you might just catch "mod fever"

Welcome to C5 and LPE. We have nothing but for those who serve.

Graham, Mike and Jason are all down here in Orlando for PRI along with Rob, Clayton and me from Pedders. Come on down and joing us for an Aussie beer in the Pedders booth.

After talking with a couple of members here and weighing the pros and cons it made sense to do it now. In addition, for me shipping alone back and forth from the southwest is one third of the pkg upgrade.

Thank you for your knowledge and your experiences Windy city, speed74 and all others who contribute with informative information.

650 and saving the shipping makes the best sense.... Congrats and welcome!

To everyone that has dealt with LPE, did you all call or email their sales address? I had emailed a couple months ago with some questions on a couple of their packages, and some other questions about additional mods, and got no response at all. I'm generally very busy during the week, and not in the same time zone, so it's hard for me to make a call, but I was very disappointed that I didn't get an email response.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the response. Hope you don't think I was trying to flame spray you all or anything. Stop forwarding me to the spam box! I'll have to wait a couple weeks to call until I'm on vacation. I work really long days right now, and I'd get busted immediately for using the office phone haha.
