So, something happened today and I hope I handled it correctly. On my way to work, a white 4 door driven by a middle aged man decided to go on my turn at the three-way stop sign. I was already going,
 he speed up trying to tailgate or force me off..whatever, he gets around me and throws the finger at me cursing, telling me to get out of the car..I showed him my phone and mouthed back, I'm recording you and going to call the cops...he speed off....anyone else experienced road rage like that...

Yup, some ranchero pulled that off on me one time when he clearly was in the wrong. Called me out at the stop light next to me saying he was gonna pull me out of the car at the next intersection yelling and cursing at meca lot of ridiculous slangs. I waved my glock 19 and the look on his face was priceless, he faced back at the road silently and speed off. I love NM gun laws!

You can carry a firearm (rifle or handgun) in your vehicle as your car, truck, SUV or whatever is an extension of your property without any type of permit.

So I slowly pull over holster my 1911, open carry (good ole NM) and step out, of course they have already jumped out of their truck like their ready to fight, should've seen the look on their faces when I put my hand on the 1911   . I have not seen them driving down my road again and I keep a good eye out for them as I thought they may come by and try to vandalize the car since I leave it parked in front of the house at times. Just becareful in the way you present your firearm as even in self defense it can be misconstrued as brandishing a deadly weapon .
