You dont want to be driving on a nice summer day with your babe in one hand and other on steering wheel when all the sudden something random breaks. Then you will be Found.On.Road.Dead...

So much Ford hate lol. Is that really the prime reason for not getting a Mustang? I'm actually a Ford fan, perhaps I'm too young to know why Ford sucks though (although my dad is a Ford guy too).

In my experience, Ford Focus >> Sunfire/Cavalier and F150's are awesome. I guess the reality is, I wouldn't buy or not buy a vehicle based on past track records of a company from many many years ago. Same reason I would even consider a Hyundai or a Kia for their current lineups.

Nothing wrong with Ford. The new mustang is a nice car, but I still prefer the Camaro. It just looks better, imo. Get what you like best.

I have to agree...buy what you want. you will get a lot of bias on here. I just personally do not like the body style of the mustang but it's your car get what you want.

1. Ford doesn't suck, they are actually very reliable and have been for years. If anyone was ever making unreliable domestics it was Mopar. They however really shot up this year...

2. Looks are subjective if anyone says "it's still a Mustang, the Camaro looks better, ETC" they are just talking out of their ass. They're opinion should not be valued. Though that is 99% of the people on this forum just to warn you...

3. Test drive them both, if I had it over again I probably would have gotten the Mustang. So many interior amenities over the Camaro such as the Nav, MyColour FULL AMBIENT LIGHTING.

4. CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE, if the looks/performance of the Camaro beats out it short comings then buy it. If the looks/performance of the Mustang beat out it's flaws like the Live Axle (which actually out handles the Camaro) then go for it. Only you know what you want so only you can make the decision...

Either way you won't be disappointed!
