New orders or...

Hey,
Feel free to flame me becasue I'm new...I can handle it!

I'm curious what the deal is if I decide today that I want to buy a new Camaro.

Can I still order one?
Are any dealers going to have "stock" or is everything based on orders only?
Are all cars for this year ordered?

Any questions I'm not asking?

If this info is somewhere else let me know but I'm really curious about what the deal is currently.

Thanks!
Wiggy

You should be able to order still. Have to ask your dealer on that one.

I would think dealers would have stock by fall/winter.

I have not. I sent one email to the internet sales dept. but never heard back. Sort of surprised me since they all seem to be struggling for sales. I wanted to find out a little more before I decide if I'm serious or not.

Any idea if an order was put in soon how long it would take for delivery? I'm looking for general numbers...like 3 months, 6 months, 9 months?

Thanks again,

You can factory order ANY car at ANY time. How long? Fully depends on your dealer's allocation (his GUIDE NUMBER) and where you would be in his line of orders.

Why would you get flamed? Welcome to the forum.,

People that get flamed normally troll and say bad things about the car or talk about how GT500 is this and that and a bread slicer etc.

As far as the questing at hand, as others have said you can do both. If you want the car ASAP then of course get an order in. If you want to lock price and APR, get an order in. How is your finance is the question. It's all about the $$Money$$ in the end.

At this point I would go in to talk to a dealer. But I think you would be looking closer to 3 or 4 months if you order it the way you want it. Depends on the dealer. you may actually get to buy a lot stock in about 3. It's hard to predict at this point.

Always seems like I'm asking a question that is painfully obvious to the regulars but this time seems like I did alright.

GT500's are nice... Don't hurt me!

Scott Volkert, you won the bonus round? Oh man, do you know Vana personally? PM me if you do.

I've also got 1 available unit that will be ready for delivery by the end of May. I have it listed in the For Sale section of the forums. Here's a link: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17143

Think O'riellys has a few spots left... little closer if you can't find any up there. I will call tomorrow (give me an excuse to check on my TPW).
