You guys are bad influences!

So, I don't know if I spend too much time on here or not, but all I can think of is getting a ZL1! Reading all of these threads, looking at the pictures have got me really thinking about ordering one. I figure, I'm 33 with no kids, my wife and i have great jobs, and have a nice retirement account going, so why not go for it?

My wife is pretty awesome and has no problem with me getting one, but her condition is that I sell my 2000 Corvette convertible and get rid of our 2011 2SS/RS (either trade or sale). I'm actually OK with getting rid of the Corvette, I never drive it anymore since getting the Camaro, and it was an occasional driver before that.

Now i need to decide if it's something I really want to do, decide what color and options, and then find a dealer that has allocation and won't charge me over MSRP.

Seems pretty straight forward, right?!

If you're decide to go for it, shoot me a PM. I believe my dealer still has an allocation and they sell for MSRP. Chicagoland area though.

She drives an SUV, but just in case kids do come into the picture, we want to have one kid friendly vehicle.

I'll keep that in mind when we decide what we're going to do! I'm down by St. Louis, but Chicago is not a bad drive. I was up there a few weeks ago for the MCACN show and the ZL1 there really got me considering this purchase.

.

Ya know, you can only drive one car at a time anyway, it might as well be one that induces UltraGrin every time you crank it or even think about it.

As far as being a bad influence... well everybody's gotta do what they're good at, right?

That is why they invented 200 MPH Duct Tape! So the kids do not slide off of the fenders.
