Nothing out of the ordinary in here , you have paid for the car with money in perfect working condition , in return you want the product in the same working manner , no more no less , it's just fair .

Tell that to Chevy and the countless other owners that have over 40 large invested in a car who's top doesn't perform the way it was advertised.

My wife has a 2SS RS convertible and the to does not come all the way up from the back. The seal came up one day when we put the top up. Right at the bottom of the back window the seal is coming up and is not seating correctly. We will take it to our local dealer so they can fix it. I have a hard top :-)) victory red 2SS RS with 850RWHP with a lots of extras...

Sounds like bow #5 went out. Good luck. I heard they are back ordered up to 6 weeks on that part. It took 49 days for me just to get trim for the rear windows.

sorry for you guy's

I feel so sorry for you guy's whom have purchased the vert's and have had so many problems with them.I would liked to have owned one but boy am I glad that I haven't.

It seems as though that GM would have perfected a fix for these multiple top issues , gone out in the field and administered those fixes and put this behind them.Another instance of rushing a product too market before the product was ready.

With the many issues that have arisen it is apparent that GM had to be aware of at the least some of them , if not most of the top issues!

So GM needs to get this fixed quick and remove the sour taste from all of the owners mouths that supported their product by being the Guinea pigs for this first year offering.

When you spend that kind of dough for a car no matter how much you love it , and having continual problems such as these can turn a customer away for a long long time if not forever.

I want to end this by saying that I own a 2010 2ss that I purchased new.It has never been back to the dealer , not one time ! I can say that I have been highly pleased with the quality ,fit and problem free miles that I have enjoyed driving this car. Many others have had just the opposite luck with their camaro. Many isolated small and some large problems have cropped up.

We can only hope that GM get's on top of these vert problems & makes the necessary corrections pronto and keeps the dedicated fans in the club.

We need satisfied customer's to keep buying GM products and help GM continue to be a success long into the future.

NOW GM DO YOU HEAR THIS ?

Totally agree buzz. What gets me is the 11's game out in February and problems were noticed in March. I took delivery of my 12 on 8/4. By 9/29 a new top. Then on 10/13 I need a new top. What gets me is this has now covered 2 model years. Where is our fix. What happens when someone spends 60K on a new ZL1 vert and these problems are still here? Many of us are going through the buy back or outright Lemon Lawing our cars. It is sad that I will never buy a new GM product again. Matter of fact this was the first and last GM car I ever bought new. Never again unless the problems get worked out and I get a buy back.

Looks like you were wise by getting a Camaro with no sunroof and no convertible. Kinda wish I did the same thing. That's why you have not been back to the dealer. Everything else is amazing with the Camaro.
