Been selling it since 2008 without any emission issues. The ls3 version has been revised, for more aggressive lift and taking advantage of the larger cubes of the newer ls motors. As long as the exhaust system has good working cats, no-one should have an issue passing, and no special tune or adding e85 or alcohol to the fuel is needed. Clint |

Makes sense.......ok here is where I get in trouble a lot of the time but I am who I Am.
Why are you going the SC route? Here is why I'm asking ( sorry Clint and Brian, don't mean to cost you buisness). A few went SC without beefing the internals, bam cause a lot of damage.I know there's a lot of people who will say adding a SC without upgrading the internals is just fine.I'll leave that up to you but at least you know there has been issues. Next is the additional parts your going to have to consider.Trans, drive shaft,CV's and reare nd. Now I don't know your plans and how far you plan on going with your build but these are definitely failure areas. By the looks of your garage with that 69 chevelle your probably way ahead on knowing what your getting into. I still feel better at least opening up the door to possible head aches rather than sit back and say way to go Super Charger the s**t out of it and not at least give you a heads up. Everyone feel free to blast me but we all know there has been a lot of money blown by just our club members alone,so I'm not completely talking out of my butt! |

Every point you've raised is valid and absolutely dead-on. I can't argue with you on one iota about anything you've said. I know I'm running a risk of doing some damage (some serious damage) - but I figure I'm gonna pay to play. If something happens cause of what I've done, I just gotta suck it up and pony up. One thing that will go to my advantage with a SC is that I don't plan on planting all that power with a sticky-tire, hard core launch at the track. So I'm not too worried about breaking parts cause the tires are gonna let go before anything else will. You run into problems with stick cars when you start hooking at the launch - that's when bad things start to happen to stock drive trains. It's just gonna be for fun, really, more than anything else. I have my Chevelle for when I wanna go scary fast. She ran a 9.29 @ 138 - driven to the track, and driven home. Now, I'm putting her into the 7's in street trim with a F2 ProCharged 592" BBC, and a JeffCo 4spd, narrowed Fabricated 9" with a spool and Strange axles. She should hold up just fine. I totally appreciate your effort to help enlighten someone though, and the way you did it shows class. Thanks! Sam |

Looks like the Camaro will be sleeping in the garage for the next week. Truck needs a little love.

Can anyone out here recommend a good window tint shop? I'd like to seriously black out the glass as soon as I get permanent plates on my car and don't have the paper temp tag taped to the inside of the rear glass anymore.
