How does the Camaro blow the Mustang away? In performance they are equal. In interior amenities and qualities, pretty equal with the edge going to the Mustang. In exterior looks, both look retro, with the Camaro obviously being the more aggressive, and in my opinion, better looking car. If you want to make blanket statements to justify why you think your car is better than another, at least make them semi accurate.

Yep, I've got one of those too and the same applies. The 4th gen has many redeeming qualities though....lol.

well also the fact that his engine is a LFX, not a LSX which are two completely different things.

I'm sure most Shelby drivers know that they're not all going to be stock. I expect that half the Mustang GT owners around are going to have go-faster mods, so why not the Camaros? When I'm out in my Bullitt (the sleeper), most other Mustang and Camaro drivers probably just think it's a 6, and show no interest in playing. My KR attracts more attention and revs from Camaro drivers, and often a wave or thumbs from the Ford guys. I fully expect plenty of Camaros, and even Mustang GT guys to be quicker in a street race, which probably won't happen. I plan on leaving my KR pretty much stock, and even with no mods, tire spin make drags useless on the stock street tires. Yeah, it would probably still run 12s on them (maybe not), but plenty of street Camaros and 'Stangs (built for doing battle there), will run 11's.
We didn't all just fall off the turnip truck.

Not really...The new mustang front looks meaner than it's predecessors however.. it's overall appearance is still just boring.

It is good to read that someone with a legit KR will keep it stock. IMHO you ruin a car like that by adding even more modifications. If someone wants to mod, just get a regular GT500 and go apeshit.
